Phonics sounds: Learning Letter T and /t/ Sound

Sound /t/ story:

Danny’s Mom and dad left home early today. They went to see the doctor and left Danny and Julia alone at home to play. The T.V was not working so Danny sat with his sister. They looked at the clock on the wall. He said, “do you hear the sound of the clock?”. She said “yes, t t t t”. “oooh! what a boring day  -_-  -_-. They had to wait for a very long time till there mom and dad come back.

t is a voiceless consonant sound that makes no vibration through the vocal cords when pronounced. The t letter has two types of pronunciations. One of them is the magic t which comes always between two vowel sounds like the words ‘butter, matter and water’. However, we are not interested in the magic t  here as it’s not the main one in phase two. The main interest here is in t sound as in talk or hot.
