8 Educational Activities for 3-Year-Old Kids
1- Painting with Watercolors
Paint with watercolors is an easy activity for children to enjoy. It’s also a good introduction to painting because it requires no special equipment. All you need is some paper, paint, and water.
The best thing about painting with watercolors is that there are no rules. You can use whatever colors you want, and you can mix them however you’d like. Kids love to experiment with different combinations of paints, and they’ll be surprised at what happens when they add water to the mix.

2- Making Paper Dolls
To make these paper dolls, cut out two circles of cardstock. Draw a face on one circle and then glue it onto the other. Cut out eyes, nose, mouth, hair, etc., using scissors. Glue them into place. You can use markers, crayons, colored pencils, or any other medium you prefer.
3- Drawing with Crayons
If you’d rather not draw, you can still make these paper dolls by cutting out shapes from construction paper. Just make sure to leave enough room between each shape so that when you fold the paper, there’s no overlap.
